Cook time: 12 minutes
Yield: 8 servings
Serving size: 4 pigs in a blanket
Ingredients
- 8 Applegate® Organic Turkey Franks
- 1 can Pilsbury® Reduced-Fat Crescent Rolls
- 4 Sargento's® Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese Slices
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
- Cut each turkey frank into 4 even pieces, giving you a total of 32 little franks.
- Slice each cheese slice into 4 individual pieces, giving you 32 small slices of cheese.
- Take one of the 8 triangle-shaped portions of the dough and roll or stretch it out slightly, making into a larger triangle. Cut this piece of dough into 4 long, narrow triangles. Do this to with each dough triangle, giving you 32 small triangles of dough.
- Starting at the base of each of these triangles, roll 1 cut turkey frank and 1 cheese slice up in each triangle until the point of the triangle wraps around the center.
- Place each pig onto a baking sheet lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Make certain to leave room between each pig as the dough will expand while baking them.
- Place pan in oven and bake for about 12 minutes until dough is golden brown and crispy.
